RESEARCH

For eight years, we have been collecting data on the presence of insects in production sites by using FlyMeter. We had a huge number of precise and specific gatherings as well as a unique heritage of information. Today, through the analysis and the application of a mathematic model, we are demonstrating our theories. We do that by verifying the coherence of what we did or what was compulsory in the process control and of what is finalized to the pest management activities. This is a new and revolutionary view of the control activities, which strongly calls into question what has regulated them following non demonstrable assumptions.

What we have reached permits: to transform the degree of infestation in a specific number of pests; to show that the same use, of different pesticides, has the same value on a scale of comparison, but it does not represent the same number of pests; to determine the place and the number of the control points and to ascertain their effectiveness; to establish weight and interaction of the activities in the whole site of production; to point out the irregularities in process control or the need to re-examine that process.
